It's mission is to expand the use of all solar technologies in California and establish a sustainable industry for a clean energy future. Companies who join CALSEIA are doing business in California or supplying products to California companies. The policies and programs in California affect their livelihoods. CoSEIA is the Colorado Solar Energy Industries Association representing the solar industry in Colorado. It was founded in 1989. CoSEIA's mission is to serve energy professionals and renewable energy users. They promote the use of solar energy and conservation to create a sustainable future. CoSEIA membership comprises solar hot water and solar electric (PV) companies, solar manufacturers, and distributers that provide both residential and commercial system products and services to consumers and businesses. Real Goods Solar is proud to be a member of CoSEIA.
The North American Board of Certified Energy Practioners (NABCEP) is North America’s leading renewable energy practitioner certification program. Their mission is is to support and work with renewable energy and energy efficiency stakeholders to develop and implement quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners. NABCEP certification is designed to serve professionals who choose to demonstrate their competence in specialized fields such as solar PV, solar thermal, and small-scale wind by successfully passing the rigorous NABCEP exams. Real Goods Solar currently has 12 NABCEP certified PV installers in the company.
