Christie Sands leads Real Goods Solar's Silicon Valley sales group. Christie brings eight years of experience across broad segments of the solar business, including sales and operations management. Before joining Real Goods Solar, Christie was responsible for sales, operations, and administration for MC Solar.


After 17 years of working in the mortgage banking industry with such giants as Cal Fed and USBank, Scoey was looking for a change. “I was looking for work in an industry I could be proud of,” says Scoey. “Being able to teach my two children the importance of conservation and sustainability is very rewarding. And contributing to the renewable energy movement in the Bay Area has been very exciting, especially as it has become mainstream.”
Carol Daly made the switch to solar after a long career in sales, marketing, and product management in the computer industry, where she worked for IBM, Quantum, and Ricoh Innovations here in the Bay Area. “It’s about making a difference,” she says, “and after becoming involved in various energy and clean-tech related efforts, it was clear to me that solar is a great way to have an immediate positive impact on peoples’ lives and our world.

Jason believes that solar power makes basic economic, environmental, and political sense. “If you consider several of the major implications that come with the energy we are fed, compared to what California and many other utilities provide, solar on your home, business, or local public buildings is one of the best ways to reduce the economic and environmental impacts, and disperse the political power that comes with utility supplied energy.”
Iain Crabb has his hands full as the “master” of operations for our South Bay regional office. Prior to joining Real Goods Solar, Mr. Crabb served for 8 years at Cisco Systems, Inc. in numerous financial management and planning positions, supporting the manufacturing and engineering divisions.
