Solar Electricity in San Diego seems to be an answer
San Diego Gas and Electric are asking for a rate increase stating that the costs for insurance, technology and employee expenses have gone up. If this is approved, customers can see an increase of at least 5%, or another $6.50. As you can see, electricity rates go up and never come down. One way to lock in a rate, unaffected by rate increases, is to get a solar electricity system put on your home. You can read the complete article about the proposed increase by clicking here. Or you can take the first step to avoid rate increases by getting free site evaluation TODAY, by clicking here.
State of California Suing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac Over Halting Solar PACE Programs

Jerry Brown stated that the State of California is suing the “federal entities” (as he calls them) over their objections to the PACE program. The gist of his argument was that this is a local grass roots program that is being crushed by Fannie and Freddie. He added that the local governments are not asking for any bailouts or stimulus, just that the entities get out of the way in order to open up affordable solar electricity to homeowners. In his opinion, “Fannie and Freddie got burned” and as a result they are too afraid or unable to understand the program, and that it will actually HELP people pay their mortgages as they save on their utilities. He went on to emphasize how it will stimulate jobs and the economy, and that this is both a democratic and a republican issue. When asked by a solar installation company how long he felt the process would take, he said he didn’t know if it would be a week, a month or a year, but he’s not backing down.
